Initial Assessment for chronic pain, fatigue & invisible illness
I offer personalised, whole-person physiotherapy for people living with chronic pain, fatigue, and invisible illness. All new patients begin with the Initial Assessment Pathway, a two-consultation structure designed to provide clarity and direction. It’s especially suited to people with autoimmune conditions, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome and long covid, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, hypermobility spectrum disorders (HSD), POTS, and other complex, overlapping diagnoses.
First Consultation
Your assessment is the starting point. It’s designed to be thorough, because short 20-minute consultations often miss the full picture, and you’ve likely already had several of those without lasting results.
We take time to explore your symptoms, medical history, daily life, previous and current treatments, and your goals. This allows me to build a clear understanding of your situation. From there, you and I work together to create a management plan that fits your needs, grounded in movement, breathwork, and strategies that support your nervous system and energy levels.
To book, select “Initial Assessment Pathway” in the patient portal and choose your first appointment. Your second session will be scheduled in-studio.
Second Consultation
During our second consultation of the Initial Assessment Pathway I will outline potential management options and explain what support I can offer. My approach combines exercise-based physiotherapy, yoga, breathwork, nervous system regulation techniques, and evidence-informed care for people with chronic and invisible illness. Where needed, I can also suggest referrals to trusted professionals in related fields.
Following Up
After your assessment, you can continue with follow-up physiotherapy sessions as you begin applying your plan. These sessions support you as you build physical capacity, symptom management, and nervous system resilience.
Follow-ups are flexible and not necessarily required. Should we agree that they are right for you, they can be booked soon after or spaced out, depending on your needs.
Returning patients may book a follow-up directly through the patient portal.
I remain flexible and committed to prioritising your needs and finding a care plan that actually works for you.

This is not a quick fix. Therapy is not something done to you, it’s a collaborative process. As a healthcare professional, I offer consultations to support you in working toward better self-management and health outcomes.
Some people benefit from just the Initial Assessment Pathway (two consultations), where we explore your current situation and outline a path forward. Others choose to work with me over 4–12 weeks, or even longer, allowing time to implement strategies, build capacity, and make lasting changes.
We’ll decide together what’s most appropriate for you during your initial consultation.

There is no difference in quality or depth between in-person and online sessions. If attending a clinic in Cork is taxing for you, or you live elsewhere, online sessions may be the best fit.
What you’ll need for online sessions:
A space to move (enough for a yoga mat)
A mat
A computer with a functioning camera and microphone
Adequate lighting so I can see you clearly
As my approach does not typically involve hands-on/manual therapy, you’ll receive the same level of care and input online as you would in person.

I am a CORU-registered Chartered Physiotherapist in the Republic of Ireland. Therefore, physiotherapy sessions are available only to residents of Ireland.
If you are based outside Ireland, I can offer coaching and movement therapy sessions instead. The format and structure are very similar, and still rooted in the same principles of integrative, personalised care.
